Students of art history know that new artistic movements were founded with a manifesto. Manifestos were always infused with passion, born from excitement of building a new paradigm but also from the urgent need to tear down the old paradigm. Brand experts will tell you that a great brand isn’t just for something, it’s against something. There’s an enemy that must be defeated. The new movement or the upstart brand is the David seeking to take down the Goliath.

Whenever I revisit our manifesto it gets me excited, anew. I can feel the passion. I know who our enemy is. It is crystal clear why they must be defeated so the new movement can flower.

Our model, leverages the on-demand flexibility of the modern-age. Every one of
us is a freelancer, we have no permanent space, so we have zero fixed costs and
maximum flexibility. All of us are executive level marketers that have been doing
this for 15-20 years apiece and bring experience from the world’s foremost brands,
agencies, and consultancies. You always get exactly who you need for each
project and you pay exactly what it costs. This ensures maximum transparency
and flexibility for the client. Agency-of-Record? F@#k that $h!t. Those days are
over. If you want to pay for layers of account management, creatives, and junior
talent, we are not for you. If you want senior level talent, ready to execute on the
dime on a moment’s notice, then we are your marketing swat team, ready to
execute.

What is an Agency Consultancy? Why would I want one of those?

Agencies are overbuilt. They support too many people, fancy workspaces, luxury
travel, and the agencies’ own marketing. Clients shouldn’t have to pay for that.
More and more clients are going direct to production companies. That’s smart, for
an ultra-savvy client that has an internal agency, or agency capabilities within their
org. However, agencies do provide a real service for clients that don’t have or
want to support that capability on a permanent basis. That’s where a consultant
model makes so much more sense to perform the traditional functions of an
advertising agency: Data-driven Insights, Cultural Context, Marketing Strategy,
Brand Strategy, Campaign Strategy, Creative Development, Measurement Plan,
Analysis, Optimization, etc, etc. Do you want to do that? F no, you don’t.

Our production approach

Our production approach is similar to that of a traditional advertising agency, in that we go to production with a vetted partner. The difference is that we don’t work with any of the old-school production houses represented by agents with super high-priced directors filling time between their next feature. We can get those guys if you want, but you don’t want to or you wouldn’t still be reading this deck. We work with scores of super talented directors, producers, designers, illustrators, photographers, developers, engineers, editors and streamlined production companies.

Jon Sneider

Jon Sneider, raised in Boston, began his marketing career selling Wave Radios for Bose and later earned an MBA while managing a $20-million sales team. At Digitas, he oversaw digital accounts for major brands like GM and Microsoft, leading to a 25-year career in advertising. After revamping fidelity.com at Fidelity Investments and directing campaigns at L.L. Bean and Microsoft, he joined Redfin to launch their first broadcast campaign. In 2017, he founded Wild Gravity, a multi-million-dollar company delivering creative content for global brands more efficiently, inspiring his book Hacking Advertising.
